Grupo de Apoyo- En la Comunidad
Fuente de Vida Mental Health Services hosts a monthly Spanish-language support group for individuals and families impacted by mass violence, including survivors of the Route 91 Harvest Festival, UNLV, Las Vegas Athletic Club, and other traumatic events.
”Renacer en Comunidad" (which means "Rebirth through community", the idea of starting over, made possible by support and connection)
This group is facilitated by Margarita Romano, LCSW Clinical Director and CEO of Fuente de Vida, a community-based mental health agency providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families across Las Vegas. Our admin team is fully bilingual in Spanish, and most of our clinicians are trained to provide trauma-informed care in Spanish, with many certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), thanks to the Resiliency & Justice Center.
The group offers a supportive, culturally responsive space for survivors and loved ones to connect, process experiences, and build resilience in the aftermath of mass violence. Participation is free of charge.
